Women are
clothed with dignity, covered with strength, and dressed with power; therefore,
they are equipped to face the fear of the future. We need to stand up for every
woman and help decrease the prevalent gender disparity in all strata of
society. Women empowerment can be defined as promoting women's sense of
self-worth, their ability to determine their own choices, and their right to
influence social change for themselves and others. Despite a great deal of
progress, women and girls continue to face discrimination and violence in every
part of the world.
Why is empowering girls and women so Important? Empowering women is essential to the health and social development of families, communities, and countries. When women are living safe, fulfilled, and have productive lives, they can reach their full potential. Contributing their skills to the workforce can raise happier and healthier children. So, they are also able to help fuel sustainable economies and benefit societies and humanity. There are many ways to empower women some of these are: ensuring women's safety, having the right education, teaching job skills, and giving them freedom.
Be someone who
would be an inspiration to other women in increasing and improving the social,
economic, political, and legal strength of women, to ensure equal rights, and
to make them confident enough to claim their rights. In conclusion, women
belong in all places where decisions are made.
