Covid-19 Vaccine & Me
Covid-19 is striking once again after hit
or nation so hard last year. This phenomenon has been predicted to happen,
little did people know that it would be more devastating this year-killing more
and more people every day-putting too much scare to each and every one. Due to
this problem and threatening situation, I am deciding for myself to be
inoculated.
Vaccine roll-out is happening in our
country. There are three vaccines available for everyone to choose from -
Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Pfizer. Although research groups from these companies
that supply this vaccine expressed confidence in their formula but people are
still confused on what to choose when talking about efficacy. Since a lot of
compliance about their side effects had been listed down, convincing people to
go for vaccination is the hardest part to do as of now.
Considering a lot of issues and
speculations over this Covid-19 vaccine I still get to choose to be vaccinated.
Fear has been somehow bothering me, but what would be the best decision do you
think that I would do now? I only have two options: one, to become a victim of
covid-19 without any protection and die, or two, to get the protection, take
the risk, if I die, still that remains a question.
For now, I don't have medical issues I am
healthy for I am still young, so I am deciding not much for myself but for my
family and society. I think my top priority as of today is to keep my family
safe from this deadly covid-19. Vaccination is a responsibility. If I won't
face this challenge, I wouldn't know if it would benefit me or not. I'd rather
take it and remain positive for its result.
