Quality education during COVID-19 pandemic
COVID 19 pandemic
is considered as the most crucial global health calamity of the century and the
greatest challenge that the humankind faced. It is the cause of breakdown
through all people in the world. Large numbers of lives have been taken, many
people are panicking of its widespread, medical kits and supplies for the
people are gradually depleting. This has a huge impact to our society and
especially on our education.
Prior to the plans on how to find a way to alleviate the disease caused by this pandemic. The Department of Education (DepEd) implemented a document that we should continue to study considering the crisis we are facing. Now, in our school we are currently conducting our study through what they call Online Distance Learning where you can choose whether Printed module or Online module via softcopy. The process of printed module is carried out by teachers classifying the modules whether it is set A or set B. The parent will pick up the module and after a week that their children finished answering, the parent will go again to return the outputs completed. This is also the way of online module where classifies as set A or set B but the process of giving module is through private messages and in this way also how students will submit their outputs. Sometimes we also bring our discussion through Google meetings.
This type of
learning is hard for people who can’t understand quickly and I can say that I
am one of them because I can’t stand teaching myself alone. I’m used to rely on
my teachers to understand lessons. Some students also are deciding to drop out
for the reason that they cannot survive to study in this way. This quality of
education is a great and effective way to continue schoolings because in this
method it can lessen chances of people getting infected by the disease. But
there are also negative effects of this type of learning. Cheating is
unavoidable in school and this is habitual for students. How much more in
online school? How can we tell that this is not possible? This is very prone
because I think other students basically are only relying on their other
classmates waiting for them to send answers. Hopefully, very soon they will
finally find vaccine for this disease and eventually everything will go back to
normal.
People have different levels of understanding. There are people who can easily understand and there are also people who are not. Hopefully very soon education and things will go back to normal. We can say that this COVID destroyed a lot of things and dreams. But for now, let us endure first and civilize ourselves on this new normal. The choice and decision rely on us and the spirit of learning is within us.

Yes, there are people who can understand the lesson easily, some are not but we must consider each other because of this pandemic. I like your design, it is very simple and pleasing to my eye and not hard to read and I really like you did not forget to cite your references, nice!
ReplyDeleteI also hope that things will get better soon for us to study well! We must hold on until things get back to normal for our dreams to come true! Good day!

ReplyDeleteA pretty subtle approach on tackling the issue of education in this worldwide crisis. I have come to reach an agreement on what you have said about this issue, that if we truly wish to proceed to learn in this crisis, then it shall be depended on our perseverance and also for that fact that each students' level of comprehension varies. Nice work, hoping to read more in the future.
ReplyDeleteHello Grant, I really admire your theme since it really captures the reader's attention and it encourages them to read your articles or blogs. Amazing work!
